Two years later, in 2007, Case got a part in her first short movie ever. The film was named Repressions where she starred side by side with Debra Hopkins. According to independent movie critics, Sharon’s acting performance was welcomed with ovations. Jesse Friedman, an Oscar nominee also joined the praising directed towards Sharon Case, encouraging people to watch the film. After Repressions, Sharon got back to filming another show. This time, it was the web series named Poor Paul.

In 2009, she appeared in one episode in this short comedy. One year later, Sharon starred in Dad’s Home for the Hallmark Channel – she got the female lead part in this romantic comedy, starring as Hope. One of the biggest roles in her life was playing Sharon Newman in Young and Restless. She got the part in the year 1994, making a massive success on the series, having her still working on the show after two decades.
