Steve Bacic is a Canadian actor best known for his dual roles as Gaheris Rhade and Telemachus Rhade in the Gene Roddenberry-created science fiction series Andromeda. He was born on March 13, 1965, in Lisicic, Croatia, and was raised in Ontario, Canada.

Bacic pursued higher education with a focus on kinesiology and earned an honors degree in the field. Initially, he considered a career in coaching or physical therapy before turning his attention to acting.
