They don't plan to divorce because the three of their children. They have a son Tyler Lee Bennington and daughter twins. There was so much going on in their lives it was difficult to keep an open line of communication. Sometimes Chester would be away for weeks while Talinda would watch the kids at home. Chester was described by Talidna as being a caring and humorous person with never a bad thing to say about anyone. It is unknown at this time what other factors could have led to his suicide but Talinda says they had a happy marriage despite his long absences performing in his band. Mike Shinada, a member of Linking Park, was the first to officially announce the death of their lead singer on Twitter Thursday posting that the rumors were true and he would be making a final statement shortly.

Talinda's twitter account was apparently hacked the same day as there were several tweets about negative aspects of her and Chester's relationship posted from her account just hours after his passing. The tweets themselves said that she was not hacked but any reasonable person could assume that the things she was saying were simply not true. Her fans do not believe it was actually her who made the accusations. One of those accusations being that she slept with Mike from Chester's band but those who know her say that is not true and nothing could be farther from the case. She will miss Chester and is currently in morning with her children.
