Tea Leoni, born Elizabeth Téa Pantaleoni on February 25, 1966, in New York City, is an American actress and producer. Her mother was a dietitian and nutritionist, while her father was a corporate lawyer. She spent her formative years in both Englewood, New Jersey, and New York City. Leoni attended the Brearley School in Manhattan and The Putney School in Vermont. She later enrolled at Sarah Lawrence College, a liberal arts institution in Bronxville, New York, though she did not complete her degree.
