The album became a double-platinum, and in the same year Travis released a Christmas album titled “A Travis Tritt Christmas: Loving Time of the Year”. In the early 1994 Travis recorded the cover of the Eagles’ “Take It Easy”, and he got to have the band, that was in a hiatus at that time, to participate to the video of the song. Always in 1994 Travis recorded his fourth album, “Ten Feet Tall and Bulletproof”. The singles “Foolish Pride” and “Tell Me I Was Dreaming” reached the number 1 and the number 2 of the billboard. Even this album became a best seller, reaching the platinum certification by December of the same year. In 1995 Travis released his fifth album “Greatest Hits: From The Beginning”.

In 1996 Travis and Marty Stuart recorded another duet, “Honky Tonkin’s What I Do Best”, and they won the Country Music Association award for “Vocal Event”. They also started another tour together in that same year, the “Double Trouble Tour”. Always in 1996 Travis released is fifth album, “The Restless Kind”, with the single “More Than You’ll Ever Know” at the number 3, and the cover “Where Corn Don’t Grow” at the number 6. In 1998 Travis released his sixth album, the last one for WB, whose title was “No More Looking over My Shoulder”, with the song “If I Lost You” that reached the number 29 on the Country Charts. In 1999 he won the Grammy for the “Best Country Collaboration with Vocals” for “Same Old Train”, always in couple with Marty Stuart. Travis signed with Columbia Records, and in 2000 he released the album “Down The Road I Go”.

The single “Best of Intentions” reached his fifth and last (at least for now) number 1 in the Billboard, while the songs “It’s A Great Day to Be Alive” and “Love of a Woman” reached both the number 2. In 2002 Travis released “Strong Enough” and, in 2004, he released his 10th studio album “My Honky Tonk History”. Travis’ last two albums are “The Storm” in 2007”, and “The Calm After..” in 2013.

Travis has also participated in more than 20 movies and TV Series, mostly impersonating himself, the most famous of which are “King Of The Hill” (2003) and “The Girls  Next Door” (2008).

Travis married his high school fiancée Karen Ryon in 1982, but they divorced already in 1984. His second wedding has been with Jodi Barnett, a woman 12 years older than him, but they divorced after a few years. In 1997 Travis married Theresa Nelson, and the couple had two sons, Tristan James (1999), and Tarian Nathaniel (2003) and one daughter, Tyler Reese (1998).

Travis is active on social media, and he has a twitter account with about 75k followers, and a Facebook page with almost 1.2 million of followers.
