Val Kilmer was born in the year 1959 and his father is a real estate developer and aerospace equipment distributor. He started to act at a young age, before he even completes his high school together with a friend called Kevin Spacey. He went to Hollywood Professional School and to Julliard School of New York City. At that time, he was the youngest student who was accepted to study in Drama Division.

Val Kilmer’s filmography also includes the movies in which he was portraying the American legends like gunslinger Doc Holliday with Tombstone movie and the Elvis’s spirit in the True Romance. He crashed with Michael Apted during the filming of Thunderheart and had problems with Joel Schumacher during the shooting of Batman Forever.  When he refuses to repeat the role of Bruce Wayne in 1995, he called off his contract for Batman and he signed to the crime thriller called Heat together with Al Pacino and Robert De Niro. In the year 1996, he was the co-star of Michael Douglas for the movie The Ghost and The Darkness.

He had some liaisons with Cindy Crawford, Michelle Pfeiffer and Cher.  He got married to Joanne Whalley who is an actress and whom they met filming Willow movie.  The two got married in 1988 but divorced in 1996 and they had two children called Jack and Mercedes. Val Kilmer was in the news in 2015, when he was experiencing some serious health issues and he was to be hospitalized where he underwent an emergency surgery that was done on his throat. However, he reassured his fans that he is not suffering a throat cancer amid the rumors that he was hospitalized because of throat cancer.
