An actor and a producer Walton Sanders Goggins was born on November 10, 1971 in Birmingham, Alabama, USA. His parents were Walton Sanders Goggins and Janet Long. During his childhood, Walton had to move several times with his parents. First, they moved to Lithia Springs, Georgia and then, he settled in Los Angeles, California.
His first roles were on a television, in a TV series In the Heat of the Night, where he played in just three episodes. However, this role he got when he was just 18 years old, so he could consider this as a good beginning. The second role of Walton Goggins was also on TV in the movie Murder in Mississippi. This was a cameo role as well, but Walton didn’t stop, he pursued his dream to become an actor, and tried himself on a numerous castings.

He created a company Ginny Mule Pictures and he produced several more films after The Accountant: Chrystal (2004), Randy and the Mob (2007) and That Evening Sun (2009). For The Accountant and Randy and the Mob Walton won Spirit of Slamdance Award for Best Supporting Actor, for That Evening Sun he was nominated on Special Jury Award for Best Ensemble.
The Accountant became his springboard to success. In 2002, he received a regular role in a drama series The Shield which aired on FX from March 12, 2002, to November 25, 2008. Goggins played there Detective Shane Vendrell and mostly thanks to this role he became famous. For this role, Walton was nominated on Television Critics Association Award for Individual Achievement in Drama.
His next regular role was in the TV series Justified (March 16, 2010 - April 14, 2015). He brilliantly portrayed there Boyd Crowder and was nominated on different awards five times. Walton Goggins's first wife was businesswoman Leanne. They married in 2001, however, their marriage finished unexpectedly when in 2004 Leanne committed a suicide. After this tragedy and a compulsory divorce, Walton have not wanted any relationships for a long time and he found his second wife Nadia Conners only in 2011. Walton likes children, he already has a son Augustus and maybe he will have more children in the future.
