Yvette Prieto, a Cuban-American fashion model, met retired basketball legend Michael Jordan in 2008 at a club in Miami. After several years of dating, the couple became engaged over the Christmas holidays in 2011. They were married on April 27, 2013, in a ceremony held at Bethesda-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church in Palm Beach, Florida, followed by a lavish reception attended by numerous celebrities and athletes.
