In addition to her athletic pursuits, Bliss has had a long-standing love for Disney, with her family making frequent visits to Walt Disney World since she was three years old. Her interest in fitness intensified during her teenage years, leading her to competitive bodybuilding. She notably competed in the Arnold Classic and has stated that bodybuilding played a key role in her recovery from a life-threatening eating disorder at the age of 15.

Bliss attended Hilliard Davidson High School before enrolling at the University of Akron, where she studied and continued her athletic development. Contrary to previous claims, she did not compete in wrestling at the NCAA Division I level but was active in college cheerleading and fitness, which contributed to her physical preparedness for WWE.

WWE Career and Rise to Fame

In May 2013, Kaufman signed a developmental contract with WWE and was given the ring name Alexa Bliss. She made her debut in WWE's developmental territory, NXT, showcasing both athleticism and character work that quickly gained audience attention.

Following a brief injury-related hiatus, Bliss returned to in-ring competition on the March 11, 2015 episode of NXT, defeating Carmella. Her performances led to a promotion to WWE’s main roster in 2016, where she quickly became one of the top female performers.

Throughout her WWE career, Alexa Bliss has captured multiple championships, including the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships. Known for her charisma and versatility, she has portrayed both villainous and heroic characters and has been featured prominently in storylines across WWE programming.
