Alicia Minshew, an American actress, was born on May 28, 1974, in Plantation, Florida. From a young age, she aspired to become an actress, a dream she pursued with dedication after completing her education. Minshew graduated from South Fork High School (SFHS) in Stuart, Florida, and went on to study at Indian River State College on a scholarship.

During her college years, she participated in numerous theatrical productions, including Grease, Godspell, Nunsense, and Kiss Me Kate. She also hosted a music program called The Music Zone, where she introduced live musical acts and video segments.

Breakthrough Role in "All My Children"

Minshew’s acting career reached a turning point in 2002 when she was cast as Kendall Hart in the daytime soap opera All My Children. The role was originally portrayed by Sarah Michelle Gellar, who had exited the series several years earlier. Minshew brought new life to the character and remained on the show until it concluded on September 23, 2011.

Her portrayal of Kendall Hart became one of the most memorable in American soap opera history, solidifying her reputation in the genre. She briefly reprised the role on One Life to Live during crossover episodes in 2004 and 2005.

Education and Early Career

After completing her studies, Minshew moved to Miami, where she began working as a model. Soon afterward, she auditioned in New York City for All My Children. Though she wasn’t selected at her first audition, she relocated to New York to pursue greater opportunities. There, she secured talent representation and joined the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), quickly landing two national commercials and gaining momentum in her career.

In addition to modeling, she appeared in various national commercials, voiceover projects, and print campaigns. On stage, she performed in New York productions such as Of Love and Betrayal and Beggar on Horseback.
