The Australian Amy Steel was born on April 7, 1989, in East Melbourne. She gained prominence in the world of netball, initially playing for the Melbourne Vixens in 2009. She later joined the Queensland Firebirds in 2011 after being selected for the Australian Diamonds national team in 2010. In 2013, she returned to play with the Melbourne Vixens and continued her career as a valued member of the Adelaide Thunderbirds in the ANZ Championship.
