Angelo Pagan is known as an American actor and musician. He is most famous for being the husband of actress, Leah Remini who was a star on The King of Queens and wrote a book exposing Scientology called Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology.
Angelo Pagan was born on May 16, 1968, in Puerto Rico.
Angelo is married to actress, Lean Remini who is famous for her lead role in the comedy sitcom, The King of Queens. Angelo has been married twice and has three children from his previous marriage and a daughter named Sofia Bella from his marriage with Leah.
Leah and Angelo have been married since July 19, 2003. Angelo first met Leah at a Cuban restaurant in 1996. Angelo finally proposed to Leah in a candle-lit Los Angeles located restaurant on December 4, 2002. Their marriage was on the brink of collapse in 2015 but they were able to work things out. When Leah appeared on the talk show, The View she expanded on some information that she initially revealed in her book Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology. It was hard for her to talk about her mother's drug addiction and her husband, Angelo being a serial cheater.
Perez Hilton speculated that Leah Remini’s confession about Angelo Pagan being a “serial cheater” has something to do with reports that Angelo was involved with someone else when he and Leah first met. However, if Leah was actually suggesting that Angelo has cheated on her, she has a good sense of humor about his philandering. Leah and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres pranked Ellen’s audience by making them think that Leah caught Angelo with another woman. As the Inquisitr reported, enough fans were fooled by the stunt that Leah Remini later had to reassure everyone that Angelo Pagan wasn’t really cheating on her.
Leah made headlines when she denounced the Church of Scientology as an extremist religion. Both Angelo and Leah's mother Vicki were part of the Scientology community with Leah until 2013, the year Leah finally decided to leave the religion. Angelo and Vicki followed her lead. Leah had been a member of the Church since age 8. Leah feared that her choice to leave would result in the loss of a large chunk of her family, but Leah’s mother and her husband decided that Leah was far more important to them than Scientology.
Angelo Pagan’s career as an actor began with a commercial from his college days. Since then, he started acting in various TV shows in small roles. He appeared in a dramatic NBC TV series, Midnight Caller in 1989.
Although his musical career seems to be in dormant status, he previously exhibited his singing prowess on the club circuit with a band called Salsa Caliente. They released an album called No Tengas Miedo.
Angelo spends most of his time managing a restaurant called Vivian's Millennium Café in Studio City, California. The restaurant is run in a partnership with the stepfather of his wife, Leah Remini. The menu of the restaurant includes their famous banana pancakes, macadamia chocolate chip cakes, home fries, corned beef hash, and eggs benedict.
