Born on May 5, 1959 in Ridgewood, New Jersey, US, to a wealthy family consisting of businessman father and actress mother as the youngest of four siblings, Brian spent 3 years as a volunteer firefighter during his high school days. His media career started while in high school as the Editorial Editor for the school newspaper. However, his first actual paying job was a busboy at Perkins Pancake House. Nevertheless, he also used to play Football at his high school. Unfortunately, he never completed his graduation despite of subsequently being enrolled with three colleges. What happened was he decided to trade off his graduation with an intern position with the administration of President Jimmy Carter and the rest is history.
