Carrot Top is an American stand-up comedian and actor who is perhaps best known for incorporating dozens of props, which are kept in large trunks on the stage, into his act. The comedy routine revolves around Carrot Top pulling out a prop, delivering a one liner about the prop, then throwing the prop away. Carrot Top was born Scott Thompson on February 25.1965, in Rockledge, Florida. Scott attended Cocoa High School and was a member of the marching and concert bands. He went on to study at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton; it was there that he did his first stand-up routine. Scott’s television credits include Larry the Cable Guy’s Christmas Spectacular, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Criss Angel Mindfreak, Scrubs, and George Lopez. Scott also appeared with country music artist Toby Keith’s video for the song Red Solo Cup.

He has also been a roaster for Comedy Central; roasting Flavor Flav and Gene Simmons. Scott has also appeared on numerous nighttime television talk shows including The Jay Leno Show. Scott recently signed a lucrative deal to perform at the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada; he currently performs three hundred shows a year.
