In 2012, DuVall played Cora Lijek, a real-life American diplomat’s wife, in Ben Affleck’s Academy Award-winning film Argo. The movie portrays the 1980 rescue of six American diplomats from Iran. Alongside the ensemble cast, DuVall won a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
