Personal Life

Cory married Tia in April 2008 after having to date her for six years. They got to know each other when Tia and her sister offered him a ride while waiting at the bus stop. He remembers that encounter saying, "I was waiting at a bus stop after shooting my first film. She and her sister drove by, and they saw me waiting and asked to give me a ride. I was embarrassed. I was downtown. They gave me a ride, and we have been friends ever since. They took me to Inglewood, so that's how that relationship started. We were friends, we started dating, and it just went from there." From that moment, it started a friendship that would have become something more significant: in fact, the couple has a son, Cree Taylor, born in June 2011.
