In 2011, Dorinda released another successful album titled I Survived, featuring popular tracks such as “Back to You” and “He Brought Me.” One of the songs on the album includes a duet with one of her sisters. She later released Living It, which was sold exclusively through Walmart and further solidified her presence in the gospel music industry.
Beyond music, Dorinda Clark-Cole is a prominent media personality. She hosts her own television show, The Dorinda Show, and a nationally syndicated gospel radio program, Serving Up Soul with Dorinda Clark-Cole. She is also the founder of Lifeline Productions Inc., an organization that hosts annual conferences for gospel singers and musicians.
In recognition of her contributions to gospel music and ministry, Mt. Carmel Theological Seminary in Fresno awarded her an honorary Doctorate of Divinity in 2004.
The Clark Conservatory of Music, founded by her mother, offers instruction in piano, organ, and voice, continuing the family’s educational legacy. Dorinda has served as both an instructor and administrator at the conservatory.
Dorinda is married to Elder Gregory Cole, and they have two children: Gregory Jr. and Nikkia Cole-Beach. Her daughter is married to Deon Beach Sr., and the couple has a son born in March 2011. Dorinda is active in international ministry, having preached and performed in countries including Japan, Germany, and England.
She holds several leadership roles within the Church of God in Christ (COGIC), serving as Assistant Elect Lady of the International Evangelism Department and as State Mother at the assistant level for the Michigan North Central Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction.
