Jason Gedrick is an American actor best known for his roles in the television series Murder One and Boomtown, as well as the motion picture Iron Eagle. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, and began his acting career as an extra in films such as Risky Business and Bad Boys.
Gedrick gained recognition with roles in films like The Heavenly Kid, directed by Michael Hoffman, and the popular 1986 action film Iron Eagle, which led to a subsequent credited appearance in Iron Eagle II. The critically acclaimed series featured a strong ensemble cast, including Daniel Benzali, Mary McCormack, Dylan Baker, Patricia Clarkson, and Stanley Tucci. In the 2003 Lifetime movie A Date with Darkness: The Trial and Capture of Andrew Luster, Gedrick portrayed the convicted rapist Andrew Luster. He later starred in the NBC series Windfall, alongside Luke Perry.
In 2012, Gedrick joined the cast of HBO’s Luck, a series centered around horse racing, which lasted for one season. He also appeared in a multi-episode arc in the series Dexter, where he played the manager of a nightclub in Miami.
