Martha Bowes MacCallum, Fox News news anchor, She is the host of the Manhattan-based program The Story with Martha MacCallum. In 2004, MacCallum joined the network. Martha MacCallum was born and raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey. She was born on January 31, 1964, to Elizabeth B. and Douglas C. MacCallum, Jr. She graduated from Franklin Lakes, New Jersey's Ramapo High School, and received her bachelor's degree in Political Science from St. Lawrence University in the North Country of New York State, and went to the Circle in the Square Theatre School for studies on Broadway before forming the Miranda Theater Company in New York. MacCallum then worked at Dow Jones & Company as an associate in corporate relations.
She worked as a business news correspondent and anchor for The Wall Street Journal Report, World Market Outlook, and Business USA at Wall Street Journal Television from 1991 to 1996. She became an anchor and reporter for WBIS-TV, short-lived sports and business channel in New York, in 1996.
Following that, MacCallum worked for NBC/CNBC as a reporter/anchor. Prior to being assigned to co-anchor CNBC's Morning Call with Martha MacCallum and Ted David, she frequently contributed to The News with Brian Williams, Today, NBC affiliate news programs, and CNBC World.
