<a href="/biography/sharon-leal">Sharon Ann Leal</a> born on October 17, 1972, is an American actress and singer, known for her roles in Why Did I Get Married and Why Did I Get Married Too?

Sharon was born in Tucson, Arizona and lived with her mother Angelita who has a Filipino heritage. Sharon's father, an <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/African_Americans">African American</a> military police officer was not in her life. He ended his relationship with her mother Angelita before Sharon was born. Sharon never had a relationship with her real father, but fortunately she had a good man to help raise her. Soon after Sharon was born, her mother married Jesse Leal, a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. He also worked as a police officer at Clark Air Base in the Philippines. After a few years of marriage, Jesse adopted Sharon and raised her as his own daughter.

Sharon dated Bev Land for a good while before finding out she was pregnant. The two decided to raise the child together and they fell in love. Their son, Kai Miles Land was born on September, 2001. The couple ended up getting married to each other in October, 2001.

Unfortunately, their relationship did not last. Things got tough between  Bev and Sharon and the two called it quits after 6 years of marriage. They got separated in 2007. This film was also a film adaptation of the Broadway Musical. Following a string of movie roles, Sharon went back to television and had numerous reoccurring roles in various television shows. She had a role as Vanessa Lodge in the television series Hellcats, but it was cancelled in 2011. Most recently, Sharon has a reoccurring role as <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miss_Martian">Miss Martian</a> in the CW hit show <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supergirl_(TV_series)">Supergirl</a>. She also has been <a href="/biography/sharon-leal">guest</a> starring on television shows <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Good_Doctor_(TV_series)">The Good Doctor</a>, and Instinct.
