Eric Allan Kramer, born on March 26, 1962, is an American actor and fight choreographer. Raised in a typical American household, Kramer spent his childhood engaging in common activities such as attending school, playing sports, and watching television. His ambitions took a decisive turn during his time at the University of Alberta, where he enrolled in the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program. It was there that he developed a deep interest in theater and stage performance, setting the foundation for his future career in acting.
Kramer began his screen acting career in 1987 with a role in the television film The Gunfighters, which followed a story about two brothers entangled in a murder plot. In 1990, he appeared in Quest for the Mighty Sword, the final installment in the Ator film series, and portrayed the Norse god Thor in the Marvel television movie The Incredible Hulk Returns.
He gained further recognition in 1993 when he played the role of Little John in Mel Brooks' comedic adaptation Robin Hood: Men in Tights. The following year, he took on various roles, including appearances in the TV series M.A.N.T.I.S. and Blossom. Contrary to earlier claims, Kramer did not portray a bear in American Wedding; this appears to be a factual error, as he is not credited in that film.
Throughout the 1990s, Kramer remained active on television, often playing supporting roles in sitcoms and dramas. In 1995 alone, he appeared in six different TV shows, including Ellen as Detective Gill Ryan and Platypus Man as Doug Monroe. His versatility led to guest appearances in A Whole New Ballgame, The Home Court, Hope and Gloria, and Dweebs.
Over the next two decades, Kramer continued to be a prolific television actor, appearing in an estimated 70 different series. His consistency and adaptability made him a recognizable face in both comedy and drama genres.
