Andrews was born on the 4th of May, 1978 in Lewiston, Maine, U.S.A as the elder of two children. She was born in a middle class family where her mother Paula Andrews worked as a teacher and her father Steven Andrews, who was a 6 time Emmy award winning TV journalist. After her father began to work for WFLA-TV, the family moved to Florida and settled in Tampa. There, she studied at the Bloomingdale High School in Valrico and was a very good dancer, as well as the member of National Honor Society. As a child, she also trained for some time at Brandon School of Dance Arts in Seffner, and her sister is also a very fine dancer as well as actress. After graduating high school, she went on to study at the University of Florida, and earned a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Telecommunications. After graduating in 2000, she started to work out; first as an intern and later as a free lancing journalist.

In the April of 2004, she joined the ESPN Network and hosted the ESPN National Hockey Night show, and in course of time covered other events like Little League World Series, College World Series and ESPN College Football Saturday. Then in 2005, she got promoted and in 2006 she also signed a deal with ABC, thereby hosting for both the channels. As things got very hectic and tiring, she decided to cut a couple of shows here and there and in 2010 appeared as a contestant in “Dancing with the Stars”, where she was partners with Maksim Chmerkovskiy, landed in the 11th spot. In 2012, she left ESPN for FOX sports, where she is still working. She runs the Fox Sports 1 show which started since 2013, and also hosts a couple of other shows like Fox College Saturday, Fox College Football Kickoff as well as Fox Football Daily. She is a hard worker, who is dedicated towards her job, and thus has earned a lot of respect, fame and money in her career.

Regarding her personal life, it can be confirmed that she has not been married till now despite being in several relationships. She has had affairs with David Wright (2007/ 08), Aaron Rodgers (2010), Josh Hopkins (2011) and Chace Crawford (2012), and is currently dating Jarret Stoll. A hot and beautiful woman, she definitely has a large fan following around the world, with her fans in Twitter crossing the number of 2 million.
