Eve Best was born on July 31, 1971 in Ladbroke Grove, London, England. She spent her childhood in her hometown of Ladbroke and got early from schooling from there as well. Her mother was an actress and her father was a design journalist. She got enrolled in Wycombe Abbey Girl’s school for her primary education. For her higher studies, she got admitted to Lincoln College, Oxford. At that college, she selected English as her major.

Eve Best very fond of acting since her childhood as she used to participate in different theater programs at her. She has performed publicly with the W11 Opera that was a children’s opera company when she was only 9 years old. As a stage name, she adopted her grandmother’s name because Emily Best was already a registered name with the British Actors’ Equity Association.

The next year Best was nominated for the same award for giving an extraordinary performance as Josie in A Moon For The Misbegotten, a play of Eugene O’Neill.
