Gary Gulman

Early Life and Education

Gary Gulman was born on July 17, 1970, and raised in Peabody, Massachusetts, in a Jewish household. He attended Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, where his talent for making others laugh became evident early on. Gulman later earned a scholarship to Boston College, where he played as a tight end on the football team. He graduated with a degree in accounting.

Before pursuing comedy full-time, Gulman worked several jobs, including as an accountant, a doorman, a barista, a waiter, and a high school substitute teacher. His experiences in these roles later became material for his comedy.

From Boston Roots to National Recognition

Though often associated with New York City due to his career in stand-up, Gulman's roots are firmly in Boston.
