Geoff Stults

Geoffrey Manton “Geoff” Stults was born on December 15, 1977, in Detroit, Michigan. He was raised in Green Mountain Falls, Colorado, and graduated from Manitou Springs High School. A pivotal point in his life came when he moved to Los Angeles. He later attended Whittier College in California from 1994 to 1998, where he participated in theater productions and played Division III football.

Early Career and Football in Europe

In addition to his college football experience, Geoff Stults also played professional football overseas. He served as a wide receiver for the Klosterneuburg Mercenaries in Austria, a team now known as the Danube Dragons. This international stint added a unique chapter to his early career before he transitioned fully into acting.

Television and Film Career

Geoff Stults is an American actor known for several recurring and lead television roles. He first gained recognition for his role as Ben Kinkirk on the popular series 7th Heaven. He later appeared in shows such as Happy Town and October Road. He achieved greater prominence starring as Major Walter Sherman in the 2012 Fox series The Finder and as Sgt. Pete Hill in the 2014 comedy series Enlisted.

In The Finder, Stults played a former U.S. Army major who, after sustaining brain damage in the Iraq War, acquired an unusual ability to find practically anything. The character's exceptional gift came with psychological challenges, including paranoia. Despite his condition, Walter refuses treatment to preserve his unique ability. The series co-starred Michael Clarke Duncan, whose performance earned him an NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series in 2013.

Stults’ feature film debut came in the 2004 cult action-comedy D.E.B.S.. He followed this with roles in several notable films, including She’s Out of My League, L!fe Happens, and The Express. He also had a recurring appearance on the sitcom How I Met Your Mother.

Family and Personal Life

Geoff shares a close bond with his brother, actor George Stults. The brothers began performing together in commercials as children and later portrayed brothers on 7th Heaven, where George played Kevin Kinkirk and Geoff played Ben. The two have often auditioned for similar roles and have lived together in Los Angeles.

Regarding his personal life, Geoff has kept details private. He reportedly dated former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler beginning in 2005, and according to media reports, the relationship ended around 2010. There has been no public confirmation of subsequent relationships or marriage plans.
