Gloria Anne Borger was born on September 22, 1952. She was born to a Jewish family and grew up in New Rochelle, New York. Her father owned Borger's, a distributor of electrical appliances. She was educated at New Rochelle High School, from which she graduated in 1970. Borger did her graduate studies at Colgate University in Hamilton, New York, graduating in 1974. She has also served as a member of the board of trustees there.

Career and Net Worth

Gloria Borger began her career in journalism as a reporter for the Washington Star. She dealt with politics and also co-authored a daily serial there. She also published a book, Federal Triangle, which concerns the parody of politics in Washington. She also worked at US News & World Report as a columnist and the chief congressional correspondent at Newsweek. She worked as co-anchor in the show Capital Report of CNBC for two years from 2002 to 2004. She also worked as a national political correspondent at CBS News and contributed to ‘Face the Nation’, a one hour show on CBS.

Borger started her career on CNN in the year 2007 armed with ample experience in Washington politics. Her vast knowledge and contacts reflect favorably on her report analysis. She is at present the chief political analyst at CNN. She also writes a column for CNN.com and she played a major role in the 2010 midterm election coverage by CNN and the America Votes 2008 coverage.
