Ian Prange

Ian Prange is the son of Gregory Prange who won the ALMA, American Latino Media Arts Award in 2001 for Outstanding Director of a drama series. Greg was the Executive Producer and Director of Dawson’s Creek and One Tree Hill. He was nominated for directing Dawson’s Creek. Other nominations include Primetime Emmy Award in 1998 for Outstanding Editing for a Miniseries or a Special - Single Camera Production. His other Emmy nomination was for To Heal a Nation who he shared with Millie Moore.

At first glance, Ian is a good looking man with a beautiful smile framed by an unshaven beard very picturesque with any photos you find of he and his wife. A man very kept to himself; it is not even known where he was born or the date of his birth. After the divorce with his wife, Ian seemingly disappeared from any interviews or social media altogether choosing to focus on work and nothing more evidently heartbroken at the end of their relationship. There has not been a single word of him being engaged, possibly married or even dating.

Best known for One Tree Hill, Ian is equally known for his famous wife, Hilarie Burton. It is evident the two fell in love while working together on the set of One Tree Hill. Pictures show both of them to have a close and relatively compatible relationship, but while these pictures led onlookers to believe this, their marriage ended the same year as One Tree Hill in 2009. Perhaps it is too much to speculate that one caused the other, forcing them to stop the show due to the ending of their relationship for a sad ending.

It is unknown what exactly brought about the divorce. While both have kept relatively secret, low profile lives, away from the prying eyes of media and paparazzi, very little is known about Ian as he keeps no social media accounts. There is talk that it may have been due to Hilarie’s busy schedule and that she was the one to initiate the breakup, but who’s to blame is undecided and will never be revealed. While for those years many heard her praise Ian for his constant understanding of her ever full and busy schedule, and how working together on the set of One Tree Hill brought them both much joy, with the divorce we are led to believe otherwise.

Ian’s ex-wife was previously an actress, former producer, and former MTV’s Total Request Live, now known as Hilarie Burton. The two wed in 2004, Hilarie was 22 at the time and divorced in 2009 with a marriage of five years. Hilarie won Hollywood Film in a category of Ensemble Acting of the Year, which was shared with the cast, for her movie The Secret Life of Bees. Hilarie owns her own production company along with Nick Gray, Kelly Tenny, James Burton and Meg Mortimer called Southern Gothic Production dubbed (SoGoPro).

Hilarie Ross Burton was born July 1, 1982, in Sterling, Virginia. Her Father is a former Green Beret, and her Mother is a real estate agent. Hilarie is the eldest of four children, being the only girl of three brothers. She graduated from Park View School in 2000, where she was the student council treasurer in her second year and vice-president junior year.

It was through her role as Peyton Sawyer on One Tree Hill during the years 2003-2009 that Hilarie Burton gained her fame Just as she was n One Tree Hill Hilarie in real life was the leader of her high school cheerleading squad. After Hilarie moved to Wilmington, North Carolina to film One Tree Hill, her family decided to move there along with her and decided to stay as they still live there even after the production was over, they now call it their home base.

Before her role on One Tree Hill, during her time as a University Student at New York University and then followed by Fordham University, Hilarie while initially a guest on MTV’s Total Request Live but afterward landed a full-time job on the show as a VJ since they loved her so much. During her time with them, she had the chance to interview Angelina Jolie.
