Jason Dolley was born in California, Los Angeles and he started to play when he was only 11.  One of his brothers and him performed in Abbot and Costello school talent show called Who’s on First. He was able to get a really acting job that same year. He got his acting job in a short film with the title Chasing the Daylight.  Mel Gibson casted him to be a 13 years Old T.J in Complete Savages, however, the movie was cancelled and he starred in Saving Shiloh. He did appear in the Duracell commercial known as Trusted Everywhere in the Amazon campaign.  He was a member of Yellow team in the second edition of Disney Channels Game.

When he started to play in the Disney Channel Original Series, he said that he liked how it was real and that everything was authentic.  He said that everything was different from Disney movies. He continued saying that when he read the script for the first time, he said that he liked it at once especially because it was family friendly. It is a movie that people can sit down together and get a laugh about it. He does also voice over and he is the voice behind Rumble in the Pixie Games of animated movies from Disney Channel. He is a star for Zendaya, Tiffany Thornton and Brenda Song.

Jason Dolley likes to play video games, piano and guitar or paintball. He plays football with friends. He likes to spend time with a Labrador retriever that he has as a pet. He likes to attend his church activities especially about youth.  He lives with parents in California and if he is not filming, then he is at Moonpark college taking philosophy college. He won an award when he was 13 for his role in Chasing Daylight.
