Jennifer Lawrence was born on August 15, 1990, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Gary Lawrence, a construction worker, and Karen (Koch) Lawrence, who managed a summer camp for children. She is the youngest of three children, with two older brothers, Blaine and Ben.
