His mother, Amy Eisenberg, teaches cultural sensitivity at a hospital and previously worked as a party clown for over 20 years. His father, Barry Eisenberg, once drove a taxi, later worked in a hospital, and eventually became a college professor. Eisenberg has two sisters: Kerrie Eisenberg and actress Hallie Kate Eisenberg, who gained fame as a child performer.
