George Ramirez, professionally known as Kap G, was born on July 31, 1994, in College Park, Georgia, part of the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. He is of Mexican descent and has often cited his heritage as a significant influence on his music. Kap G graduated from Tri-Cities High School, a school known for its strong performing arts program.
Kap G began making waves in the music industry with collaborations alongside some of hip-hop’s well-known artists, including Chief Keef, T.I., Wiz Khalifa, Jeezy, and Kirko Bangz. His debut single, "Tatted Like Amigos," featuring Chief Keef, gained traction and helped him build a name in the rap community through its catchy production and dynamic bilingual lyrics.
