Kim Matula, born Kimberly Marie Matula in 1988, hails from Fort Worth, Texas. She developed a passion for acting early on, beginning her journey in the performing arts at the age of 12. By the time she was 15, Matula had distributed headshots and successfully secured an agent to represent her.

After completing high school, Matula enrolled at the University of Texas, where she pursued studies in acting. However, she did not complete her degree, as her acting career began to gain momentum, prompting her to fully dedicate herself to the profession.

Career Beginnings and Breakthrough

Kim Matula made her film debut in the 2008 television movie Queen Sized, where she acted alongside Nikki Blonsky. That same year, she appeared in a recurring role in the independent film Pink.

Seeking greater opportunities, Matula relocated to Los Angeles to advance her acting career. Her breakthrough came when she was cast as Hope Logan in the popular CBS daytime soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. Her portrayal of Hope, the daughter of central character Brooke Logan, gained widespread acclaim and significantly raised her profile within the entertainment industry.

Matula's performance on the show earned her a Daytime Emmy Award nomination. However, despite the recognition and success, she chose not to renew her contract and departed the series in 2014 to pursue other opportunities in film and television.
