Jones has worked on various local channels and shows before getting break with YES network in the year 2005. Her previous works include being a beat reporter at the New York Giants and a columnist at the Newark, New Jersey for a NFL column of the star ledger newspaper. Her column was loved so much that it continues till date, apart from her continuous jobs.  At YES network in the year 2005 she succeeded Suzyn Waldman for the Yankee Games as a reporter. At the same time she was the game analyst for the same games on the WCBS radio.

Jones shows and reporting are highly awaited by the public and through her personal blog she keeps posting her views and updates. The blog is named ‘Keeping up with the Jones’ and also features interviews of various players. Jones is a highly optimistic lady in pursuit of better opportunities for self-growth. Hence instead of renewing her contract with the YES network in the year 2012, she went on to join the NFL Network as a Full-time reporter. Her vacant post at the YES Network was filled by Meredith Marakovits, a fellow Pennsylvanian.
