Laurie Metcalf has had numerous television appearances including The Norm Show (with Norm Macdonald), Charlie Lawrence, Absolutely Fabulous, Malcolm in the Middle, My Boys, Dharma & Greg, Frasier, The Big Bang Theory, Without a Trace, 3rd Rock from the Sun and Monk. Metcalf received nominations for Emmy Awards as Outstanding Guest Actress on both Monk and 3rd Rock from the Sun. Laurie was nominated for a 2017 Golden Globe Award, the SAG Award, and the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Lady Bird, a film directed by Greta Gerwig.
