Melissa Mack was born and raised in the state of Ohio. She got her telecommunications degree from the Youngstown State School. To earn her Broadcast Meteorology Warranty, she enrolled at Mississippi State University. She was able to earn herself the AMS Seal of Approval. She also got a degree from Brown University.
After finishing her college studies, Melissa was motivated to pursue her journalism vocation. Melissa’s journalism career started when she joined the WTAP-TV station located in Parkersburg, WV. After a brief stint there, she then started working at the WYTV ABC 33 station located in Youngstown, OH. She worked over there for three years beforehand being recruited by Fox News.
She joined the FOX 8 News station in 2008 to present the weather in their morning segments. She then made a move to Boston in 2009. She had a role as the morning and afternoon Meteorologist for the WBZ-TV CBS 4 station located in Boston. After a couple of years of working on the East Coast, she started her path back to the Mid West when she started to work for FOX 8 in Cleveland. She was featured on the weekday broadcasts of FOX 8 News.
While she enjoyed making the most of her New England encounters along the East Coast, she concluded that she wanted to return home for work so that she could spend more time with her family and loved ones. She was excited to meet up with her circle of friends to share a portion of her east coast encounters like Lobster Tail Pastries.

In 2016, Melissa and her significant other, Ryan, announced that they expecting their first kid together. On December 18, 2016, the couple invited their son, Jet into the world. After being married for two years, the freshly married couple were excited to add a new member to the family.
