Michael Laudrup began his football career in 1981, earning a place on Denmark's Under-19 national team, where he scored 14 goals. Shortly afterward, he joined Brøndby IF, contributing to the club's promotion to the Danish 1st Division. His performances garnered attention across Europe, leading to his transfer to Juventus in 1983 (note: not 1985, as originally stated). During his tenure with Juventus, he won the Serie A title in the 1985-86 season and was named Danish Player of the Year.
Success at Barcelona
After a less successful season in Italy, Laudrup joined FC Barcelona in 1989, where he played under manager Johan Cruyff. At Barcelona, Laudrup became part of the legendary "Dream Team," which included talents like Pep Guardiola, Ronald Koeman, and Hristo Stoichkov.
