Her father is the owner of the company called Amfax which is in charge of promotions and telemarketing. Her mother is the founding member and also the chief operating officer for Proini, a daily newspaper written in the Greek language, and also The Greek American, an English language weekly newspaper. Nicole graduated from Buckley Country Day School in 1985, and she graduated from the American University in 1993. 

Later on, Nicole met the love of her life on a blind date that was setup by a mutual friend of theirs who thought they would be perfect for each other. The two ended up liking each other very much, and ended up dating and extending their relationship for over 3 years. Then, on May 9th, 1998 Nicole Petallides and Nicholas Tsiolas were married. Nicholas Tsiolas works as a dentist in the high earning area of Manhattan, New York. 

The happy couples wedding was amazing and very much spectacular. It was filled with friends and family from both sides of the isle. Nicole, the bride, was walked down the isle by both her father and her stepfather. The wedding occasion was presided by Archbishop Spyridon, the Greek Orthodox primate of the United States. It took place at the Greek Orthodox Shrine Church of St. Nicholas in Flushing, Queens, New York. Despite their high class backgrounds, the couple who has been married for almost twenty years opted for a quiet, low key, but extravagant in it's own right ceremony.

As mentioned previously, Dr. Nicholas Tsiolas is a dentist. His parents are Helen Tsiolas and Eraklis Tsiolas who also reside in Queens, New York. Eraklis worked in Manhattan as a furrier before he retired. Helen, was a stay at home mom and homemaker.  Nicholas is a graduate at State University of New York at Albany, Georgia. He obtained his degree of dentistry from Columbia University and currently works as General Dentist & Prosthodontist in Gramercy Park Dental in New York.

Before Nicole joined Fox Business Network, she was the anchor for the Bloomberg Television and she reported at the New York Stock Exchange for the National syndicated show. Before working for the Bloomberg market Update, she was the assistant producer of CNBC and she was producing the daily floor reports of NYSE. She was also a producer of a segment in the Dow Jones television show. She contributed also to Asian business news, affiliate WNYW, CNN with News 12 Long Island.

Nicole Petallides has to report live from the New York Stock Exchange and when she is not keeping up with the financial news about the trading floor, she goes home to her children. Nicole Petallides with her husband, have two sons together, one 10 years old and the other one 8 years old. She has to make sure that she balances her high intensity schedule with her personal life.
