Rick Gonzalez began his acting career in 1998 with a role in the television movie Thicker Than Blood. Though a minor part, it was a significant first step in his career. Notable appearances include Todd Phillips' comedy Old School (2003) and Jim Sonzero’s horror film Pulse (2006), where he portrayed the character Stone. In 2013, he starred as Rene in Make Your Move, a South Korean-American indie dance film inspired by Shakespeare’s "Romeo and Juliet."
