Scarlett Sigourney Moffatt was born October 17, 1990 in Bishop Auckland, County Durham, England. She previously worked as a supermarket cashier before finding fame in the television. She is also a former ballroom and Latin dancer and appeared in many competitions. She was unhindered by being run over by a car when she was only 11 and suffers from Bell's palsy as a result. She appeared on MTV's series Beauty School Cop Outs in 2013, and in the following year appeared on the reality show Gogglebox with her parents and siblings. In 2016 she participated in the sixteenth series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! and won. The next year, in January of 2017, she was offered a presenter position on the dating show Streetmate.
She was a backstage presenter for the National Television Awards in the same month. She released a fitness DVD on Boxing Day 2016, but was criticized two years later in March of 2018 for her misleading weight-loss dieting methods. While the DVD recommended 1200 calories a day, her dramatic weight loss was achieved by several boot camps and consuming only 700 calories per day.
