Seth Woodbury MacFarlane was born on October 26, 1973 in Kent, Connecticut. His father, Ronald, was a teacher, and his mom, Ann, was a school manager. Growing up, Seth was drawing cherished cartoons like Woody Woodpecker and Fred Flintstone. MacFarlane kept drawing all through high school and afterward enrolled at the Rhode Island School of Design to study video and animation. In spite of the fact that his career aspirations were at first centered around Disney, MacFarlane grabbed the eye of Hanna-Barbera Productions with his film, Life of Larry, which contained the beginnings of what would later turn out to be Family Guy. Officials at FOX got a look at MacFarlane's ability and offered him a deal to take a shot at MadTV. In spite of the fact that the deal eventually failed to work out, it solidified the artist's relationship with FOX. Before long, the studio offered him a limited quantity of cash to make a pilot, hoping it would prompt a prime time series headed by MacFarlane. Fox purchased Family Guy in 1998 and scheduled its introduction for the start of 1999. MacFarlane was just twenty-four at the time.
