Cash went to McKeesport Area High School and was involved in various things. The woman tried out stuff like cheerleading and baseball but she revealed that entertainment was the one thing she was really interested while attending the high school. She attended drama classes and had various roles in different plays produced in her school. After finishing high school Cash went on and enrolled at the University of Connecticut and was recognized as the best female basketball player the university has ever had in its ranks.

Career

Her extremely great skills attracted attention from WNBA and she was drafted in 2002 as a second overall pick by Detroit Shock. She had an amazing first year because thanks to her the team finished the second half of the season extremely strong if you compare how they were doing before Cash joined the team. The following season Swin lead Detroit to their first-ever title of the competition. She played in an All-Star Game that season and was considered to be one of the best-talented players in the league. In 2007, she left her team because of conflict with the head coach and joined Seattle Storm. But before that, she had a job on television as an analyst because it was off-season and her knowledge of the game was exactly what ESPN was seeking. In 2012, the athlete joined Chicago Sky but spent only one season in the Windy City. She then became a part of Atlanta Dream but left the team in 2014 for The Big Apple and is currently playing for New York Liberty.
