Tamsin Egerton is an English actress and model who is perhaps best known for her role in the film St Trinian’s (2007). St Trinian’s is a British comedy film, the sixth in a long-running series, which chronicles the events of the St Trinian’s school; it remains one of the highest grossing British independent films from the last thirty years. Tamsin Egerton also appeared in the Sequel, St Trinian’s ll: The Legend of Fritton’s Gold.
Tamsin Olivia Egerton was born on November 26, 1988, in England; she is of English, Irish, French, and Ukrainian ancestry. Egerton’s acting career began at a local youth theater at the tender age of six. A year later would find her playing Mary in the musical production of The Secret Garden at the Royal Shakespeare Company. Egerton attended Ditcham Park School, an independent and co-ed school in Hampshire which is located in the South Downs National Park.

Egerton finished school at the age of sixteen and decided to pursue acting versus attending university. In addition to St Trinian’s Tamsin Egerton’s film credits include Keeping Mum (2005), Knife Edge (2009), Huge (2010), Grand Piano (2013), Love, Rosie (2014), and Grimsby (2016).  Tamsin Egerton is in a relationship with the actor Josh Hartnett. The couple has two children and lives in the UK.
