Travis Fimmel is an Australian actor and former model, best known for his roles in television and fashion campaigns. In his youth, Fimmel moved to Melbourne with aspirations of becoming a professional Australian Rules football player, aiming to play for the St Kilda Football Club in the AFL. However, after suffering a leg injury, he was forced to give up his sports ambitions. He subsequently enrolled at RMIT University, where he studied commercial architecture before deciding to travel abroad and pursue new opportunities.

Travis Fimmel's modeling career began when he was discovered by a talent scout from Chadwick Models agency. He soon signed with LA Models in the United States, where he gained international recognition. Notably, Fimmel became the first male model to secure a six-figure deal with Calvin Klein, modeling for both the brand's underwear and fragrance campaigns.

His provocative Calvin Klein billboard in London reportedly attracted so much attention it had to be taken down to reduce traffic disruptions. This exposure catapulted him into global fame and made him a household name in fashion.

In 2002, People magazine named Travis Fimmel one of the world's sexiest bachelors, boosting his modeling demand worldwide.
