Travis Fimmel was born and also raised in the Australia near a small town called Echuca and it is found between Melbourne and Sydney.  His family had a dairy farm and that it is the place where he was raised together with his three brothers. His father works as a cattle farmer while his mother works as a nurse.

Travis Fimmel travelled to live in Melbourne where he wanted to play professionally for the AFL football under St Kilda football Club. However, he broke a leg and was not able to continue to play and he decided to do commercial architecture in RMIT. After sometime, he decided to travel abroad. Travis Fimmel began the career in the modeling when he was spotted by the talent scout for a prestigious company called Chadwick Models agency. He signed at once and begun to work for LA Models.

He was the first man to get a six figure deal to become a model of Calvin Klein for over one year.  He was the model of its underwear and it was reported that once a billboard in London has to be pulled down so that the traffic congestions with the accidents that female drivers were making in the area can be reduced.  

Travis Fimmel came to be nominated as one of the sexiest bachelors by the People Magazine of America in 2002 and his demand to be a model in the world increased. It was said that he was the one who inspired Sex and The City movie.  His biography is large and it can be found from different places. His pictures had been published on different places including Numero Home of France and TV Guide in America.  He appeared in the American TV shows that are top rated like Jimmy Kimmel Live, Total Request Live of MTV and Live with Regis and Kathie Lee together with The Sharon Osbourne Show.

Travis Fimmel is yet to be married, but this does not mean that he is a gay. He dated many women and there is a list of the women that he dated and they are Mei Melacon, Merrin Dungey, Rachel Hunter, Jessica Miller and Nicpole Appleton. By now, he does not have any girlfriend and he said that he is seriously looking for a wife and if he gets the right girl, he is going to be engaged. His net worth is 3 million dollars.  Before he pursued the career in acting, he had to pass the classes in acting under acting coach Ivana Chubbuck afterwards; he acted in Tarzan, a TV series.
