Not giving up on his musical career, in 2016 Trevor released a very personal mix tape which was called In My Feelings. The mix tape was released on Atlantic Records. The album was also co written with his big brother Ian. The two are very close and together, with their unmistakable chemistry wrote an album that only those two could. The mix tape was a success, and received very positive reviews. It received over 1.8 million streams from his Youtube channel and on Soundcloud. The mix tape featured the songs, Bang Bang which boasts a stunning selection from Louisiana trap king Kevin Gates and the song Simple as this,  an unique song that gives Trevor’s dynamic range of voice space to really stand out and shine. 

Then in 2017, he had a starring role as Zurich Condoll in the Netflix original movie called Burning Sands. This movie also starred actors Alfre Woodard, Seravah, and Trevante Rhodes. The film was released around the world at the Sundance Film Festival in 2017.

As of now, Trevor is currently working on his new album and his acting career. He is starring in multiple roles right now. He is playing the role as Aaron on the shows Black-ish and also on it's spin off, Grown-ish. He is also featured in the upcoming movie Superfly as the leading role. 

Trevor was named one of Ebony magazines “25 Young Guns of Black Hollywood”. Trevor has a number of new things he is working on, which are slated for this year, including a highly anticipated new album, Rough Drafts Pt. 1 which will be released on March 16.
