Geoffrey Zakarian was born on the twenty-fifth of July in the year 1959 in a town called Babak in Azerbaijan. He spent his childhood days in Worcester in Massachusetts. His career in the food industry began in the year 1982, when he started working under Daniel Boulud at a restaurant called ’Le Cirque’ as the ’Pastry Sous’. He eventually worked his way upto ’Chef de Cuisine’ within five years. Later on, he was awarded the position of the executive chef at a restaurant called ”44” which was one of the trendiest and ’chic’ restaurants, located in Manhattan at the time. ...
