Alison was born to Bruce Smith at Osoyoos in British Columbia. Her father Bruce served as a Guidance Counselor. In the year 1972, Alison did her schoolings at Southern Okanagan Secondary School that was very near to Oliver. Further she did her graduation at the Ryerson University in Toronto and University of British Columbia at Vancouver. Alison is a wonderful woman with excellent talents. Though she grew-up in a minor community, she was brought-up and grown with self-confidence and dignity.
