Alongside acting, Adam Hicks has been active in music. He teamed up with fellow "Zeke and Luther" co-star Daniel Curtis Lee to record a remake of MC Hammer’s hit "U Can’t Touch This," which premiered with a music video on Disney XD. He also remixed "In the Summertime" by Mungo Jerry and collaborated with Ryan Newman on an original holiday song titled "Happy Universal Holidays."

In 2011, Hicks released "Dance for Life" with Drew Seeley as part of the Disney Channel Original series "Shake It Up." The track was featured on the soundtrack "Shake It Up: Break It Down."
