Ashley Argota

In December 2013, Ashley portrayed Princess Jasmine in the Pasadena Playhouse production of Aladdin and His Winter Wish. The holiday musical received positive reviews from critics and audiences alike. Amidst her acting and singing career, Argota also enrolled at New York University, majoring in nursing, reflecting her commitment to both her artistic passions and academic growth.

Music Career

Ashley Argota began her professional music career alongside acting. At age 11, she performed as Young Nala in the Broadway production of Disney’s The Lion King. Her early start in theater and music was marked by winning the Amateur Night at the Apollo Theater in New York City five consecutive times, earning her the title "Star of Tomorrow" on Showtime at the Apollo.

As a recording artist, Argota has released two albums. Her debut album, Dreams Come True, was released in 2006, followed by her self-titled album, Ashley, in 2008. Music remains an integral part of her career, and she continues to pursue her passion for singing.
