Brent Celek

Brent Celek is American football tight end who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles have been a team with a winning history and were proud the hoist the 2018 championship trophy for the National Football League or NFL. Coming out of college, Brent was considered to be a very good prospect but not an elite or can’t miss draft pick. Tight ends aren’t usually selected at the top of the draft so it wasn’t a surprise to see where Celek eventually ended up on draft night. He got drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL Draft. The cold weather conditions of Philadelphia would be familiar to Celek after playing college football for a university located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Celek did not just excel at football during high school. He was a complete athlete and tried his hand at other sports. He was on the varsity track and field team for over two years in shot put and the discus throw.

Garrett attended a different school by going to Michigan State but he ended up playing for the same college coach as Brent. Mark Dantonio coached Brent at Cincinnati but years after he would end up in Michigan State to coach Garrett.
