In 2012, Keenum joined the NFL as an undrafted free agent, signing with the Houston Texans and initially joining their practice squad. He was promoted to the active roster in 2013 and made his first start against the Kansas City Chiefs, throwing his first career touchdown pass during the game.
Keenum had a journeyman career, moving between multiple NFL teams. He spent time with the St. Louis Rams (later the Los Angeles Rams), where he briefly served as starting quarterback. In 2014, while back with the Texans, Keenum earned his first NFL win in a game against the Baltimore Ravens. He later rejoined the Rams and contributed to three team victories in the 2015 season.
Over the years, Keenum also played for the Minnesota Vikings, Denver Broncos, Washington Commanders, and Cleveland Browns, gaining a reputation as a reliable backup and occasional starter in the NFL.
Case Keenum married Kimberly Caddell in 2011. The couple has maintained a relatively private personal life while balancing family with the demands of a professional football career.
